Thailin strongly abides to the principles of environmental protection, industrial safety and employee health. We have passed the ISO14001&OHSAS18001 certificates in Dec. 2006.

 Environmental Policy

Being a member of the global community, environment protection is the important responsibility and commitment of ThaiLin. We make such commitment to all employees, customers and the general public theat all the management and operations will be reliable and conformable to the environment protection. To prevent and reduce any possible pollutants and refuses, waste water/sewage and chemicals utilization, to fully utilize the resources, and provide the green product and clean production to satisfy customer requirement are the main guidelines for ThaiLin toward the continuous improvement. We commit to:

1.Educate our employees to recognize the environment protection is the common responsibility for everyone.

2.Strictly complying with environment laws stipulated by the government and interested parties. Appeal to the global environment campaigns.

3.Enhance and improve the pollution controls, especially, pollution prevention.

4.Continuously improvement on industrial waste reduction.

5.Energy saving and recycling.

We, Thailin, will continuously educate our employees such that everyone can fully understand and support this policy. Furthermore, we will deliver our ambition on the environment protection to any interested parties via appropriate media. 

 Safety and Health Policy

Thailin Semiconductor Corporation is in the field of semiconductor testing. We manufacture high quality products through best technology to satisfy customers` requests. For a long time, We input great manpower and financial resources to do risk management work, we expect taking responsible sustainable development are the top management and all employees` target. We also recognize that occupational safety and health is an intergral part of all business operations, we therefore secure a safe and healthy working environment for our employees. In view of those, we especially established volunteer Safety and Health management system and compliance with follows:

1.Comply with regulatory requirements.

2.Provide a safe and healthful qorkplace, free of occupational injury and illness.

3.Enhance internal, external communication and respect our customers, our neighbors, and our empolyee`s perspective.

4.Establish objectives, continually improve the Safety and Health performance.

 GHG Emission Management

Although Thailin`s main production process has no GHG emission, we promote saving energy to comply with Environment Policy, appeal to the global environment campaigns and energy saving, that we expect reducing GHG emission in order to taking enterprise`s responsibility for environmental protection. 

 Management of Contractor

Thailin not only respects the safety of our employees, but also vendors who are work in the fab or visiting our facilities. We devoted to providing the more safe workplace and established the rules for contractors, who should experience the general safety and health education and training before allowed entering the Thailin and who was informed the risk about the workplace.

 Emergency Response

Thailin has drawn up an emergency response plan and organized an ERT and implemented fire fighting drill once half a year to consolidate Thailin`s ability of handling the emergency situation.

 Management of Health

Thailin`s greatest assets are our employees, therefore safeguarding their health is an important responsibility. We take preventive measures, which ensure that our employees are not exposed to hazardous substances and occupational diseases by performing periodic health examinations, conducting measurement of work environment and providing qualified protective equipments.

 Activities of Health Promotion

In accordance with concept of predictive medical science and risk management, Thailin holds influenza vaccine injections for employees so as to strengthen the employees’ immunity and minimize the impact of influenza.
